SOLITUDE (Photo Courtesy of Craig Underwood).

The place where the noise of everyday life stops is still out there.

In his day job, Craig Underwood makes people happy and the world prettier at Underwood’s Fine Jewelers in Fayetteville, Arkansas. In his off-hours, Craig is  both an award winning photographer and a true son of Arkansas.  The photograph above combined those passions. Craig snapped the picture last fall while on a camping trip in the Ozarks.  The light illuminating the tree comes from a handheld flashlight.  The sky provides its own beautiful commentary.  Craig’s title–Solitude–perfectly captures the serenity he feels and only nature can give.
